Our ASP.NET Development Company
At Cambria we began to do web development using Microsoft's "Classic" ASP in the 1990s. Our ASP.NET development effort began with our first asp.net project in 2002. In our Philippine office we have built a superb staff of 10 software developers in this language, all of whom have passed the stringent selection process described here. Our asp.net web programmers have completed a variety of ASP.NET applications, big and small. All are skilled in making use of the MVC framework.

Is ASP.Net a good choice for your site?
Two of the most popular programming languages of all time (in many forms) have been C and Basic. Developers who favor one syntax tend not to like the other. One of the nice things about using the .Net framework is that our ASP.Net programmers can choose either of these two types of syntax (C# or VB.Net) in which to do his ASP.Net programming. According to the TIOBE programming communitiy index of 2013 C# is the 5th most popular programming language after C, Java, C++, and Objective C. With this kind of popularity our ASP.Net clients do not need to worry too much about the language going away any time soon.
Basic ("Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code") was developed in the 1960s to be a very easy language to learn and use and over the years has been supported by Microsoft, apparently for that very reason. "Bill loves Basic" was a phrase often heard about Bill Gates.
What is the point of this for the client? It is this: it is not unusual for a client to
wish to take a hand in the programming or maintenance of his program. If he is used to Visual Basic or Microsoft Access he might prefer us to work with VB.Net. C# is the more popular choice in the .Net community but one choice is as good as the other and there is no significant difference in the resulting code.
Custom Software Development using ASP.Net has met the test of time. It was introduced in 2002 and is still among the most popular tools with which to develop a dynamic web site. There are, of course, many competitors, most of which are not as popular than ASP.Net but these rankings change all the time. Many people appreciate the comfort of knowing that Microsoft (who used .Net to develop high volume sites Bing, MSN.Com, and Live.com) fully supports ASP.Net. Consequently it is a good bet for the future.
