President and co-founder of Cambria, Dick is a physicist who, as president of a medical testing company, became interested in software from the perspective of a user and business owner. His previous positions include President of Industrial Health, Inc., Vice President of Envirodyne, Chairman of the Shock Wave Physics Department of SRI International, and a member of the professional staff of the Arthur D. Little Company. He is the author or co-author of numerous scientific papers and two books.
Dick has programmed extensively in Delphi, C, C++ and Visual Basic but in recent years he has not done much programming apart from maintenance on old systems written in software unknown to modern programmers. He is now programming his iPhone using Swift.
He earned his B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Lafayette College and his PhD from Caltech on a fellowship in nuclear physics. He has also taken a business course for executives at the Harvard Business School where he was the only participant out of 100 who got the correct answer to the business problem that was central to the course. He is a member of the Sigma Xi, Phi Beta Kappa, and Tau Beta Pi honorary fraternities. All that stuƯ probably merits a yawn but his favorite achievement is having won the competitive Barge Math Prize at Lafayette, beating all the math majors. Times change.
His favorite under graduate achievement was, as a Metallurgy major, beating out all the Math majors to win the Barge Math Prize.

Youth does not always mean inexperience and Romy is one tangible proof of this. He may be young but he has a considerable experience in programming and design. He has advanced knowledge and skills in programming languages such as FoxPro, Visual Basic, MS Access & reporting tools like Crystal Reports. He is also knowledgeable in MS SQL Server, ASP, VB.Net, and ASP.Net.
Update 2019 | Not so young anymore. Romeo is now a seasoned veteran of 12 years as a Cambria programmer and one year as President of our Makati subsidiary, Cambria Philippines His success prompted us to hire his brother Rodel right out of school 7 years ago and that has been a success as well although we no longer take risks like this. It does not always work out so well and these days we insist on programmers who have 5 or more years professional experience before we consent to interview.
Update 2023 | Romeo was one of the first senior software developers Cambria Philippines hired back in 2007, and due to his leadership, tenacity and expertise has served as the President of Cambria Software Philippines, Inc since 2018. He possesses extensive expertise in programming languages including FoxPro, Visual Basic, MS Access, and proficiency in reporting tools like Crystal Reports, and is the company's foremost expert in MS SQL Server, ASP, VB.Net, and ASP.Net.
Before his tenure at Cambria Romeo had a decade of experience as a software developer and as an instructor of Computer Science under his belt. His deep academic and professional knowledge coupled with experience teaching and encouraging students has been invaluable to Cambria and highly valued by his subordinates.
Chase Crewdson first started working for Cambria when he was just 15 years old, where he cold called clients all summer for minimum wage. He went on to study particle physics and data analysis at Santa Clara University, material science and metallurgy at Caltech during the summer, and furthered his education at Queen's University for grad school. After, Chase joined his former Caltech lab's industrial manufacturing startup in Pasadena, California. Despite his venture into the world of particle physics and engineering, when the opportunity to rejoin Cambria was available, Chase immediately jumped at the chance to be a part of the company. He loves to problem solve, talk to people, and offer solutions, and can't wait to bring Filipino programming expertise to clients around the world
Sales and Marketing
Jennifer is the front liner of Cambria and her role as Vice President and Sales Manager extends above and beyond as she is also responsible for several administrative tasks and handles day to day operations of the company. She took up Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Systems Technology Institute Global City and studied Computer Secretarial at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
When she joined Cambria in 2008, she implemented several sales and marketing efforts which helped a lot in reaching clients not only in the US but also in the Philippines as well as neighboring Asian countries. She also has a Dutch residency and is a very active member of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines. She is very active in supporting Philippine Sports by sponsoring the number one female squash player. During her free time, she loves to travel, play squash, spend time with her family and cook them a nice meal.
A strategic HR Manager and Accounting Officer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration major in Management, recognized for transforming outdated policies into structured, law-aligned company frameworks and strengthening workplace relations through extensive labor relations expertise. When not working with people and numbers, she spends her free time painting as a creative outlet, finding balance through art.
Anyone who has dealt with Cambria for long will eventually contact Janet, probably the best known of Cambria's staff. She has been our Accounting, Billing, Collections, Reception and Secretarial departments all in one since the 1990s and is as quick with a smile when things are going well as she is with a rebuke when one of us does something wrong.
